Variable behavior after connecting to a laptop (mac)
https://community.robotistan.com/index.php?p=/discussion/comment/110#Comment_110Hello, I tried to work with the Picobricks set today for the first time.
Hello,
I tried to work with the Picobricks set today for the first time. The first time I connected the Pico to my laptop, I saw something on the led screen and I could play some music etc. but the second time I connected, nothing happened anymore, only the red light on the side of the Pico is burning red. My laptop is also not recognizing the board. So what can I do?
EDIT: Now it seems to start up normally, but it is now stuck, so nothing happens when pushing the button or rotating the pot-meter or pushing the reset-button. So I reconnect the cable, then nothing happens anymore, it doesn't start up.
Hello @Hansb,
Can you connect Picobricks by holding the BOOTSEL key? If it connects I want you to try some projects on our GitHub page. Firstly, you can try Blink project. Let's find out if you can put code in it or not.
Thanks.

Thanks for your quick reply!
I tried to connect, but my laptop doesn't seem to recognize it. I tried on another laptop as well, but same issue.
Do you use MacOs Ventura? I hear there are problems with that recognizing micro:bit, pico etc.
yes , I do use MacOs Ventura... I will try what the article suggests.
But the use of MacOs Ventura should not affect how the Pico starts up. It should start with the message on the led screen, the red light turned on and the ability to play music etc.
Yes, tried that as well also on different laptops with different cables...
Thanks so much! Just sent the email
